Ketchikan Drywall Services, Inc. number one priority is safety. Ketchikan Drywall Services, Inc. prides itself on having a comprehensive safety program that follows all of WISHA/OSHA’s rules and regulations. KDS is consistently modifying its safety program with innovate equipment and training to keep its impressive safety rating.  For the past eight years Ketchikan Drywall Services, Inc. has been better then the industry standard when it comes to L&I’s mod rating system.  Below is a direct link to view Ketchikan’s impressive safety rating from over the years at the L&I direct website.  

 

On or after April 22, 2010 firms working in pre-1978 homes and child-occupied facilities must be certified and use lead-safe work practices during renovations.  The EPS may authorize states, territories and tribes to enforce the rule.  KDS currently employs three people certified by the EPA in lead safety.

The L&I website calculates an experience factor based off of comparing a company’s accident costs to the average costs of other companies in the same risk classification. ABC Safety Alliance Member

Since 2005, Ketchikan Drywall Services, Inc. has been a member of the ABC Safety Alliance.  This is an award given to companies with a better than industry average safety record and training program. In order to become a member, KDS had to pass a safety audit of their written safety policies and procedures, as well as, pass an jobsite safety inspection.
