SAFETY
Effective April 22, 2010, the Environmental Protection Agency stated that firms performing renovations, repairs, or painting in pre-1978 homes and child-occupied facilities must be certified and use lead-safe work practices. This federal law requires contractors working in those environments to be certified and use lead-safe work practices. KDS currently employs three people certified by the EPA in lead safety.

calcu ABC Safety Alliance Member Since 2005, Ketchikan Drywall Services, Inc. has been a member of the ABC Safety Alliance. This is an award given to companies with a better-than-average safety record and training program. In order to become a member, a company must pass a safety audit of its written safety policies and procedures, as well as jobsite safety inspections. |
